Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has moved from being a philosophy to business function and modern companies have created the position of CSR manager, whose goal is to make sure that the company balances its own and society’s interests. The researches confirm that the ethical image and social responsibility of the company become increasingly important for customers, employees, and other stakeholders.

On the 24th of November, IB DP students have met the head of PR and CSR Department of Wissol Group, which is one of the biggest businesses holding in Georgia, and franchisers of Wendy’s and Dunkin Donbats. Mrs. Rusudan Kbilashvili, shared valuable experience in terms of CSR and provided practical implications about the importance of social responsibility. Hereby it is important that our guest confirmed readiness to provide support for European School students in social responsibility-related CAS projects.

Developing social responsibility among the students is one of the priorities of the European School and we regularly organize events that contribute to achieving this goal.
