The students of the American School of Advanced Studies embarked on an enriching excursion to Dashbashi alongside their homeroom teachers and the Academic Dean, Natia Tevzadze. Throughout the journey, students of 6, 7, and 8 grades  fostered a spirit of cooperation, friendship, and collaboration, all while exploring remarkable landmarks and immersing themselves in the natural beauty of our country. Their return was marked by a palpable enthusiasm, with vibrant emotions fueling a desire for more weekends filled with such memorable experiences.

American school students embarked on a captivating field trip to CERN, Switzerland, where they delved into the intricacies of particle physics. During their visit, they engaged with local scientists, grappling with the challenges of comprehending this cutting-edge field. Moreover, they broadened their horizons through immersive cultural experiences, marveling at the richness of Switzerland's heritage.

On April 26th, the European School had an energized atmosphere as it celebrated Self Governance Day and provided students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, take on roles and responsibilities of the school faculty and staff for one day, and govern almost every aspect of life at the ES.

No electricity hour, Earth lessons, assemblies, conferences, Green companies, upcycled clothes, eco-friendly fashion shows, awarding the Greenest Class and the Greenest Office – all to make the planet a better, healthier place.  Earth Day is our day!

April is a book-giving month, and April 23 - is World Book and Copyright Day, a global celebration of the joy of reading, the power of books, and the importance of protecting the rights of authors.

The PYP students recently marked Earth Day with an engaging conference focused on environmental issues. Through thoughtful speeches and collaborative presentations, students tackled topics such as soil pollution, poverty, climate change, global warming, air pollution, and water pollution. Their presentations showcased not only their knowledge but also their compassion and open-mindedness, highlighting their dedication to addressing pressing environmental challenges. The event served as a platform for students to demonstrate their commitment to caring for the planet and making a positive impact within the PYP community.

On April 10th, Grade 10 students enjoyed an inspiring assembly with European & World Champion sabre fencer Sandro Bazadze. Invited by the MYP student council, the guest led an engaging, open discussion with students. He talked about the importance of setting clear goals and maintaining physical and mental well-being for achieving success.

Top-ranked European Universities: IE University (Madrid, Spain), EHL Hospitality Business School (Lausanne, Switzerland), Brussels School of Governance (Brussels, Belgium), Modul University Vienna (Vienna, Austria), Università Bocconi (Milan, Italy) attended a fair organized by the University and Career Counseling Office of the European School.

In a world filled with endless curiosity and boundless enthusiasm, there's nothing quite like the wonder of a class visit to the zoo. Recently, 1B students embarked on an unforgettable journey as they ventured into the animal kingdom at the local zoo. From the moment they stepped off the bus, excitement filled the air. The students met the zoo's inhabitants, with their teachers leading the way. First graders petted soft rabbits, stroked smooth tortoises, and marveled at the delicate wings of colorful butterflies. These close encounters sparked a sense of wonder and empathy, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world. Ultimately, the zoo trip wasn't just a fun day out - it was also a journey of discovery, learning, and growth. As the first graders returned to school, their minds buzzing with excitement and newfound knowledge, they carried the promise of endless adventures yet to come.
