The European School hosted a webinar where students connected with the Learn With Leaders representative and learned all about the In-person HMC Young Global Leaders Program by the Harvard Model Congress. During this session, they discovered the goals and benefits of the HMC Young Global Leaders Program, got detailed information about requirements, and received answers to questions from the knowledgeable supervisor.

The European School will be hosting an onsite workshop "Exchange of Experiential Teaching Practices II" for the Caucasus and Central Asia Association of IB World Schools (CCAAIBW) on Saturday, November 30, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Global Handwashing Day was marked at the European School with various activities raising awareness about the importance of hygiene! Our school doctors initiated informative talks on the significance of handwashing, reminding children how a simple act can make a big difference in keeping them healthy.

We are excited to announce the results of our recent, transparent election at the American School of Advanced Studies (ASAS) to choose the next candidate for School Parliament Chairperson. Three remarkable students—Tornike Butskhrikidze, Ketevan Mamukashvili, and Carl Hyder—were nominated for this important role. Each nominee exemplifies dedication, discipline, and intelligence, making them true leaders in our school community.

As the new academic year begins, we are thrilled to introduce a new tradition at the American School of Advanced Studies (ASAS): monthly assemblies led by our new principal, Dr. Brice Bomo. These gatherings have quickly become a highlight for both students and staff, thanks to Dr. Bomo’s captivating rhetorical skills and his ability to share meaningful messages that resonate with our community.

The American School of Advanced Studies marked the beginning of the new academic year with an inspiring assembly centered around our motto for the year: "Faster, Higher, Stronger." This event not only welcomed newcomers but also conveyed a powerful message of unity and growth.

On Thursday, October 3, at 4 PM, Lado Sakvarelidze, a founding member of Fly Fishers International, delivered a presentation titled "Recreational Fishing and Conservation of Wildlife" for IB DP/CP 11th-12th grade CAS/SL students. In this session, Mr. Sakvarelidze shared and discussed how recreational fishing can be practiced in a sustainable manner to support wildlife conservation and the protection of natural habitats.

At ASAS, we always inspire our students to take the lead, encouraging them to bring their ideas to life. Our passionate football fans from 9B took the initiative to organize a friendly match against 10A, demonstrating their ability to plan and execute events. The match, supervised by the sports teacher, was an exciting event, showcasing both teamwork and school spirit. In the end, 9B emerged victorious with a 4-1 win. We're always eager to support our students' daily passions and ensure they feel empowered and fulfilled.
