Chess Tournament, 1 Round
21 May 2024On May 16th, the American School of Advanced Studies hosted the first round of its chess competition, organized by the chess teacher, Ilia Tsetskhladze. The event was vibrant, with high participation from students in grades 6 through 9, boasting over 20 participants. Another round is scheduled for May 21st, and we will return with the names of the winners.

Last Bell Ceremony - 2024
21 May 2024Today, the school bell rang for the last time for grade 12 students at the European School. Symbolic class with their homeroom teachers, taking final photos with classmates and teachers, signing school last-day autograph shirts, and a tree-planting ceremony gave graduating students a chance to leave something behind and to remind and inspire current and future ES students.

Spanish Language, Cervantes and Book day, April 23
20 May 2024On May 14th DP/CP Spanish students together with their Spanish teacher, Tamara Guliashvili, celebrated Spanish Language, Cervantes and Book day. All these three important events symbolically coincide on April 23, but at our school, we have celebrated them on May 14; the day of Georgian King Tamar. DP/CP Spanish students had impressive presentations and speeches about Cervantes and Castillia La Mancha.

Europe Day
15 May 2024The European School celebrated Europe Day and stressed European values and principles by holding a conference, Youth for a Better Tomorrow.

The Exhibition component of Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
03 May 2024Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is a fundamental subject within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Its purpose is to cultivate student’s metacognitive and conceptual thinking, prompting them to reflect on the very nature and essence of knowledge.

THE Counsellor Awards 2024
03 May 2024Giorgi Sichinava, Director of University and Career Counseling at the European School, won the Counsellor of the Year – Europe award! The Global Counsellor Awards, drawing counselors worldwide, took place at the BMI/THE Global International Schools Forum and Workshop in London on Monday, April 29, 2024.
