New Year’s Events in PYP
23 Dec 2025Our PYP students participated in a variety of New Year celebration events that showcased their creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Students in Grades 1–3 presented festive concerts, performing New Year–themed songs and dances to different pieces of music, demonstrating their communication skills and confidence as performers.
5C: Wizard Of Oz
17 Dec 2025The 5C students proudly staged a fantastic performance of The Wizard of Oz after a full month of dedicated practice and preparation. Throughout this time, they worked hard to learn their lines, movements, and songs. In total, they prepared ten songs, each performed with confidence and enthusiasm, while their amazing, colorful costumes reflected their creativity and research skills as they explored characters and stage design. To end the play on a special note, the students sang a Christmas song, creating a joyful and magical Christmas mood for everyone in the audience.
PYP Students’ Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Orbeliani Market
17 Dec 2025The students of the Georgian Language Club and Grade 5 visited the Orbeliani Market, where they ceremoniously lit the Christmas tree. The students wrote wishes to Santa Claus, which they hung on the Christmas tree together with New Year’s ornaments. Students learning the Georgian language were actively involved in this process alongside their parents and teachers. They also enthusiastically participated in the Gastro School, where they learned how to make khinkali, churchkhela, and cookies, practiced speaking Georgian, and applied their language knowledge in a real-life context.
ES DP Students Attend Financial Education Workshop
16 Dec 2025As part of the Business 360° meeting series organized by the Bank of Georgia, ES DP students participated in a financial education workshop led by ES DP Business teacher Miranda Manjgaladze.
5C: Basketball Match
12 Dec 2025The Grade 5C students proudly showcased the results of their five weeks of preparation during an exciting basketball match. All players demonstrated impressive skills, teamwork, and determination on the court. The game was energetic and engaging from start to finish, with both teams giving their best effort. In the end, the Red Team secured a well-deserved victory with a score of 8–4. Parents, students, and invited classes cheered enthusiastically throughout the event, creating an amazing and memorable atmosphere for everyone.
Human Rights Day in PYP: Inspiring Visit from UN Human Rights Lawyer Besarion Bokhashvili
12 Dec 2025On December 11, our school had the honour of hosting an exceptional guest speaker, Besarion Bokhashvili, a distinguished human rights lawyer with over 20 years of experience. Mr. Bokhashvili currently works at the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR) in the South Caucasus, where he continues his commitment to protecting and promoting human rights.
5C Trip: Art Meets Poetry
12 Dec 2025Grade 5C visited the art gallery as part of their formative assessment, where they explored various exhibitions and discussed the artists’ styles and techniques. Students carefully observed the paintings, taking time to notice colors, emotions, and details before choosing the artwork that inspired them the most. After selecting their favorite piece, they wrote a four-stanza poem that expressed their personal interpretation and emotional response to the painting.
Echoes of Thought, Colors of Soul: Poetry event for Manana Abramishvili
10 Dec 2025On 28 November, students gathered for “Echoes of Thought, Colors of Soul,” a special event dedicated to Georgian poetess Manana Abramishvili. The evening opened with a graceful piano performance by Tornike Butskhrikidze (Grade 11), setting the tone for a celebration of poetry and art.
Grade 8 Field Trip: Exploring the Historical Treasures of Eastern Georgia
10 Dec 2025Our Grade 8 students recently embarked on an exciting educational field trip to the eastern region of Georgia, where they had the opportunity to discover important historical landmarks and deepen their knowledge of the country’s rich cultural and geographical heritage. This hands-on learning experience allowed students to connect classroom knowledge with real-world exploration, bringing history and geography to life right before their eyes.
