13 Nov 2024On November 5, ASAS held an inspiring assembly featuring Dr. Brice Bomo, who explored the cultural richness of diverse nations and highlighted the importance of cultural identity and international citizenship. Dr. Bomo’s presentation encouraged thought-provoking reflections on individuality, customs, and cultural heritage, leaving a lasting impression on students.
Trip to the Museum of Zoology
10 Nov 2024"As part of their exploration of the unit - Where We Are in Place and Time - IB PYP grade 4C students visited the Museum of Zoology at Tbilisi State University. As part of their inquiry the students were learning about discoveries in the field of biology and zoology and the museum was a perfect place for them to find answers to many questions. The students were able to see over 5000 objects including unique butterflies, insects, reptiles, birds, and mammals. As an integration with the Georgian B language class, the students bade sketches of different animals and birds exhibited in the museum and with the help of the Georgian teacher labeled them in Georgian. The students were fascinated by the wonderful collection they observed in the museum and learned more about the importance of discoveries in the field of Zoology."
Children’s Rights Protection Workshop
07 Nov 2024On October 30, children’s rights protection workshop for MYP teachers was held at the European School. The workshop was led by Eliso Chelishvili, Child Protection Officer of the European School. After the workshop, there was a discussion between the speaker and the teachers.
Let's get to know Georgia together
29 Oct 2024In honor of Georgian culture and traditions, our IB PYP fourth-grade students recently presented a special performance. As part of their project, they explored Old Tbilisi, visiting key cultural monuments. On October 28th, they performed a puppet show of the classic story "Komble" and introduced the tradition of the Georgian "Supra" or "table," showcasing traditional dishes, sweets, and drinks, including wine. The event concluded with a beautiful Georgian song, creating a memorable celebration of Georgia’s rich heritage. We are proud of our students for bringing these traditions to life!

ASAS 7th Graders Embark on a Memorable Educational Excursion to Bolnisi and Dmanisi
