Earth Day Conference: IB PYP and Georgian Program 5 United for the Plane
27 Apr 2026In celebration of “Earth Day”, Grade 5 students from the IB PYP and the Georgian Program came together for a meaningful and inspiring Earth Day Conference dedicated to raising awareness about caring for our planet. The event was a wonderful example of collaboration, as students from both sections worked side by side to prepare thoughtful presentations about environmental protection, sustainability, and everyday actions that help reduce our impact on nature. Through research, teamwork, and creativity, the students explored important topics such as recycling, saving water, reducing waste, and protecting wildlife.
World Earth day
23 Apr 2026On April 22nd, ES IB 10th and 11th grade students celebrated Earth Day by attending a special assembly. The guest speaker, Ms. Tamar Kakhishvili, Deputy Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas of Georgia, delivered an engaging presentation about the country’s national parks, tourism, ecosystems, and recreational spaces. Students actively listened, participated in the discussion, and engaged in a Q&A session, making the event both educational and interactive.

Throughout this process, students explored a range of fascinating topics, including Japan, Georgia, ancient civilizations, AI, the Ice Age, etc. Over the weeks, they engaged in in-depth research, wrote detailed reports, conducted interviews, and even went on field trips to deepen their understanding of their chosen subjects.
