On October 3, the American School of Advanced Studies proudly held its internal Student Presidential Chairman Election, serving as part of the broader European School Student Presidential Election process.

As part of their unit Who We Are, the grade 5C students were investigating the emotional changes that children go through during puberty. As we were on our journey to discover ways to manage our emotions, we decided to visit a yoga center.

Our recent PYP class assembly began with a special moment of recognition as we congratulated the newly elected Student Council members and proudly presented them with their badges. This significant occasion marked the beginning of their journey of commitment, leadership, and responsibility.

As part of our Unit of Inquiry Who We Are, Grade 3B pyp students visited a local yoga studio to explore how healthy choices influence well-being. The instructor led the students through simple yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities.

The PYP community, including parents, teachers, and students, joined the PYP leadership team for an engaging Coffee Morning, with Grade 5 student representatives and one parent sharing their perspectives and experiences, as discussions explored the PYP philosophy, curriculum, and ways to support students’ learning, highlighting the roles of the library, technology, wellbeing initiatives, and various school activities in fostering a balanced and enriching learning environment, while also examining strategies to strengthen collaboration and communication between home and school, and emphasizing the importance of community engagement and the shared commitment to nurturing confident, internationally minded learners.

The American School of Advanced Studies held a vibrant school assembly that brought together students, families, and faculty to celebrate learning, creativity, and achievement.

The European School hosted its annual Club Fair, where students had the chance to explore a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities. From sports and arts to languages and technology, there was something for everyone! Students didn’t just learn about the clubs, they actively took part in hands-on activities and workshops, getting a real taste of the exciting experiences that await them this year.

Our recent PYP assembly began on a joyful note with the PYP anthem, beautifully written by Ms. Natalie Paniashvili and performed by our talented 4A students.

Today, our little learners stepped into a world of wonder, fairy tale magic and joy through the doors of European Kindergarten.
