US Embassy at the European School
On April 2, 2018, The European School had the honor to welcome the representatives of the US Embassy in Georgia – Elizabeth Rood, Deputy Chief of Mission, and Jenni Gunnoe, Community Liaison Office (CLO) coordinator. Sophie Nonikashvili, a junior from the American High School and the chairperson of the European School Student Parliament, and Aleksandre Lomadze-Gabiani, a senior from AHS, organized a tour of the school’s facilities for the guests.
US Embassy representatives talked about the interest the American expatriate community has in the International Baccalaureate and American High School programs and expressed their willingness to further collaborate with the school. The European School would like to thank the representatives of the US Embassy. We hope that the visit will strengthen the bond between the school and the American community in Georgia.
