Building Bonds Through History: 6th Graders' Excursion to Dzalisa

Our new 6th-grade students, who have just joined the American School of Advanced Studies family, found the beginning of the academic year somewhat challenging. To help them bond with each other and their teachers, we organized a cultural excursion to Dzalisa, an ancient Roman site in Georgia. Dzalisa is significant for its well-preserved mosaics, thermal baths, and insights into Roman urban life, offering a unique glimpse into the ancient world.

The students, accompanied by their parents, were supervised by Academic Dean Natia Tevzadze, History teacher Giorgi Barnabishvili, and Homeroom teacher Etuna Metchurlishvili. This trip not only provided an educational experience but also helped unite our 6th graders, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
