Leaders of Tomorrow: A Transformative Experience

On March 14th, the highly anticipated event took place at the European School, bringing together aspiring leaders and visionary speakers. Organized under the initiative of Student Parliament President Kato Mamukashvili, this gathering aimed to inspire, educate, and equip students with the necessary skills to become future leaders.

Opening Remarks

The event commenced with an insightful presentation by Kato Mamukashvili, who emphasized the importance of leadership, resilience, and initiative in today’s rapidly evolving world. Her speech set the tone for a day of learning, discussion, and engagement.

Special Guests

A key highlight of the event was the speech by Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, a renowned Georgian economist, businessman, and the Chief Executive Officer of TBC Bank. He shared valuable insights on leadership in the corporate world, discussing the role of innovation, adaptability, and ethical decision-making. He spoke about consistency as the key factor to success, advising students to search for their true path and remain curious in discovering their place in the world. His experience in navigating the financial sector provided students with a broader perspective on the challenges and opportunities in business leadership.

Another distinguished speaker, Teona Bagdavadze, an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and the founder of her own company, captivated the audience with her insights into leadership strategies. Drawing from her vast experience as a business leader, she shared invaluable secrets of true leadership, including overcoming crises and fears that leaders may face. Her engaging discussion sparked a vivid interaction with the audience.

Engaging Workshops

The event featured two interactive leadership workshops, designed to enhance students’ practical understanding of leadership. Our students took the stage to lead these sessions, showcasing their own leadership potential.

  • Workshop 1: Led by Natalie Hoge (Grade 11), this session focused on essential leadership qualities, emphasizing communication, strategic thinking, and team dynamics.
  • Workshop 2: Conducted by Shaya Tari (Grade 10), this session explored decision-making in leadership, highlighting real-world scenarios and problem-solving techniques.
