Teacher Success Story: Nika Kurdadze Pursues PhD at University of California, Riverside

We are proud to share the remarkable academic journey of Nika Kurdadze, a former mathematics and physics teacher at the American School of Advanced Studies. Nika, a graduate of the School of Physics at the Free University, has been accepted into the prestigious PhD program in Physics at the University of California, Riverside, where he will specialize in condensed matter physics.

Nika’s academic interests lie in strongly correlated systems and quantum information processing—areas in which UC Riverside offers world-class research opportunities and academic mentorship. His dedication to science and education was evident in the classroom, where he inspired ASAS students with his passion for physics and critical thinking.

His acceptance into a competitive doctoral program is not only a personal milestone but also a reflection of the excellence and high standards upheld by the ASAS teaching community. We celebrate Nika’s success and are honored to have been part of his professional journey.

Congratulations, Nika! Your achievements continue to inspire both students and colleagues alike.
