On April 26th, the European School had an energized atmosphere as it celebrated Self Governance Day and provided students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, take on roles and responsibilities of the school faculty and staff for one day, and govern almost every aspect of life at the ES.

No electricity hour, Earth lessons, assemblies, conferences, Green companies, upcycled clothes, eco-friendly fashion shows, awarding the Greenest Class and the Greenest Office – all to make the planet a better, healthier place.  Earth Day is our day!

April is a book-giving month, and April 23 - is World Book and Copyright Day, a global celebration of the joy of reading, the power of books, and the importance of protecting the rights of authors.

Top-ranked European Universities: IE University (Madrid, Spain), EHL Hospitality Business School (Lausanne, Switzerland), Brussels School of Governance (Brussels, Belgium), Modul University Vienna (Vienna, Austria), Università Bocconi (Milan, Italy) attended a fair organized by the University and Career Counseling Office of the European School.

Mattew Giaquinto from European School's American School of Advanced Studies has been accepted to Cornell University. Along with his Ivy League admission, Mattew was also accepted by the following prestigious universities in the US: University of Virginia, University of Rochester.

Teaching 21st-century students needs innovative methods proven to work effectively with today’s tech-smart learners. During innovation weeks of the European School’s Science, Mathematics, and Innovative Technologies Departments, we evidenced that ES teachers keep up with changes and integrate innovation into the daily curriculum to encourage students’ academic growth.

On February 12th, the intellectual game “What? Where? When?” organized by the European Union in Georgia, was held at the European School. Over 850 participants competed in the game about Europe in different locations of Tbilisi and demonstrated knowledge about the European Union and its member states.

TEDxIBEuropeanSchool brought fresh ideas and new voices to the stage. An incredible journey with the visionary invited speaker who shared her insights on sustainable approaches and thought-provoking talks by the ES students left the audience with lessons learned and a different view on diverse topics covering technology, nature, music, space, education, etc.  

2023 - 8th International Forum of the European Youth Parliament Georgia – EYP Georgia was held on November 17-21. 140 participants from 20 different countries celebrated 15 years of empowering young Europeans of Georgia!
