United States Accreditation
American School of Advanced Studies (ASAS) is an independent school accredited by Cognia in Tbilisi, Georgia. As a United States accredited school, American School of Advanced Studies is recognized as meeting the criteria set by Cognia for quality schools and improvement. The quality of education at ASAS is consistent with educational standards across the United States. Credits earned at the American School of Advanced Studies are readily transferable to accredited American high schools. Furthermore, American colleges and universities recognize diplomas and coursework from American School of Advanced Studies as equivalent to those awarded by accredited U.S. high schools, with this recognition expanding globally. American School of Advanced Studies is a fully US accredited school under Cognia and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

European Accreditation Council of International Schools
American School of Advanced Studies is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) as a global non-profit membership organization. CIS provides services to that share these ideals:
- a desire to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens; and
- a commitment to high quality international education
To achieve this goal, ASAS infuses our programs and offerings with an international and intercultural perspective so that students may move forward with the attitudes and understanding that will provide them with a solid base wherever their studies or work may take them. ASAS is committed to undertaking an ongoing external quality assurance process to enhance student learning.
The CIS community includes 711 schools and 512 colleges and universities representing 112 countries.
In 2019 the European School became the First CIS Accredited School in Georgia.
College Board Member
American School of Advanced Studies is a College Board Member as of December 2015. College Board Membership allows ASAS to connect with global education networks at the forefront of education policy, research, and real-world practice. As a College Board Member, American School of Advanced Studies enjoys many benefits including professional development opportunities for its faculty, as well as admittance to education conferences.
Georgian Accreditation
On August 4th of 2021, the American School of Advanced Studies received accreditation from the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement for four years. National accreditation is an important stage in the development of the ASAS.
