As a member of European School, American High School shares and has access to all of the facilities and resources of European School.
European School prides itself on its facilities. With a 24 hour security staff, a guard station, cameras, and a full janitorial staff, the school is both safe and clean at all times.
European School’s campus includes:
• Two fully staffed libraries
• Cafeteria
• Café
• Conference rooms
• Indoor gymnasium
• Outdoor tennis courts
• Soccer fields
• Locker rooms
• Television production studio
• Closed circuit school television station (ESTV)
• Auditorium and stage
• Science laboratories
American High School classrooms are all technologically integrated with computers, speakers, and projectors. American High School classes have access to computer labs and classrooms with smart board technology. Additionally, students may use library computers during free periods or after class for research and school projects.
American High School students make use of European School’s sports and entertainment facilities during gym classes and afterschool in clubs. European School hires highly qualified professionals to instruct students in physical education, film production, dance, and many more activities.
Lunch is served daily in the cafeteria for all students and faculty. Additionally, students may purchase food and beverages in the café located on the 6th floor of the building. During free periods and lunch, students can usually be found hanging out with their friends either in the café, one of the lounge areas, or on benches in the school’s courtyard.
Student Support Services
American High School shares student support services with other sections of European School. European School has a full time psychologist, speech therapist, and pediatrician on staff to address students’ needs as required.
American High School students also have full access to European School’s full-time college counselor. The college counselor helps guide students and their families through college application processes from start to finish.
