American High School hosts Guest Speaker
“Russian-Georgian Relationships and Civil Activism in Georgia”
On Monday, April 2, the American High School hosted noted political analyst and social activist Mr. Nikoloz Berulava who addressed the “Russian-Georgian Relationship and Civil Activism in Georgia” to students in the AP Comparative Government and Politics class and two World History classes. Mr. Berulava stressed the important role of each individual in society towards achieving the greater public good. He further emphasized that each citizen’s inaction serves as a tragedy for society as only individuals may improve it by their responsibility and action. The students in attendance discussed the topic and participated in several lively debates.
