Guest Speaker Workshop on Psychology and Mental Health for ASAS Grades 6-8 Students
On January 24, 2025, ASAS students from grades 6 to 8 had the unique opportunity to attend an engaging workshop led by guest speaker Nino Gotoshia, a specialist in psychology and mental health. The session provided a comprehensive introduction to the field of psychology, focusing on how thoughts and feelings influence behavior and the vital connection between brain health and emotions.
Nino Gotoshia explored critical topics, including understanding emotions, managing stress, and the importance of maintaining mental well-being. Students also learned practical strategies for relaxation, fostering positive thoughts, and knowing when to seek help. The session encouraged active participation, with students asking insightful questions and reflecting on their own experiences.
