PYP G3 B Mystery Guest
08 Feb 2018According to lines of inquiry and our goals/sub goals set in the beginning of the fall semester, that aims to involve parents into the learning process, Mrs. Tamar Avaliani, G3 B student’s parent delivered a lesson about Morse Code. She presented an informative and very enjoyable lesson to our students. The Grade 3B class had fun trying to write their names and simple sentences all in Morse code! Anastasia: “I felt so happy when I saw my mother as a teacher in our classroom and was proud of it. But also I was bit nervous at her lesson.”
Fun Chemistry
08 Feb 2018Georgian Program students from grade 3 attended the “Fun Chemistry” lesson conducted by Khatuna Kapanadze and Maka Nakaidze. The aim of the lesson is to make students become interested in Sciences from early childhood.
Newly Established Partnership with Grigol Robakidze State University
08 Feb 2018The European School and Grigol Robakidze University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 7, 2018. Grigol Robakidze University hosted the signing ceremony. Along with the administration members of the European School, Grade 10-11 students from Georgian Program also attended the ceremony. The event proved to be very interesting as students were provided with relevant information regarding university programs. Later, they went on a tour around the university building with Mamuka Tavkhelidze, the Rector of the university. Students visited lecture halls, seminar rooms, experimental laboratories, etc. They were especially impressed with a crime lab where expert criminologists introduced them to intricate procedures of investigation. Discussions on future cooperation prospects showed that the Grigol Robakidze University Teen Academy will help students make informed decisions when they decide to choose their future careers.
Exhibition of Ilia Mchedlishvil’s Paintings
08 Feb 2018On January 30, 2017 the art gallery “Sphumato” hosted an exhibition of Georgian artists. The European School student from grade 3 Ilia Mchedlishvili was the youngest among artists. On February 2, 2018 Ilia Mchedlishvili’s classmates visited the exhibition.
English Language Learning and Sports Activities at One of the Best Camps in Berlin: “Sport_ und KreativCamp Wannese”

European School Delegation at Model UN Conference
06 Feb 2018On January 26-30, the European School delegation attended the MUN conference at the University of New York in Prague. Their visit was organized by Kant’s Academy. The school delegation, led by the Academic Director Sophio Bazadze, consisted of six students from three different programs of the school-Georgian, IB and AHS. On the last day of visit, the delegation visited the Embassy of Georgia in Czech Republic and met the Ambassador Zaal Goksadze.
Unprecedented Cooperation Between the European School and the British Council

New Opportunity for the European School Students to Learn Chinese Language!
30 Jan 2018The European School is providing its students with a new opportunity to learn Chinese Language. Our Chinese Language teacher is Yaru Gao, a Confucius Classroom teacher at the Tbilisi Open University. She is determined to enable our students master their basic knowledge in Chinese, improve their basic listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, develop their ability to communicate in Chinese, and inspire them to learn more about Chinese culture and history.
"Einstein School" - A New Platform at the European School
26 Jan 2018In cooperation with the European School, the Kant Academy is creating a unique platform for 8-12 years old students to help them improve their intellectual abilities and learning skills and develop emotional intelligence. The program is based on modern techniques, including practical exercises, team competitions and field trips. A bonus program - "Parents Coaching" is also being put in place to provide counselling meetings for parents of the participants to ensure proper communication with children and deal with difficulties in appropriate ways.
