The school Flower Festival featured art exhibitions, concerts, and craft workshops held in the school's beautiful garden. This amazing celebration showcased the creativity of the European School students.

08 Jun 2022On June 1-2, 2022, AHS students participated in student conferences at European School organized by academic departments. In a conference "Social Sciences and Growing by Learning", organized by the ES Department of Social Sciences, participants were: Nia Khachapuridze (9A class) "Sex and Gender", Supervisor: Gaga Gvenetadze; Natalie Gviniashvili (9B class) "Social Inequalities", Supervisor: Gaga Gvenetadze; Gagua Lile (10B class) "Fashion as a way of self-expression: Comparative Analysis of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Madeleine Albright", Supervisor: Mariam Khatiashvili;

Teacher-student international online conference
03 Jun 2022On May 26th, 2022, American High School hosted a teacher-student international online conference – Georgia and the World. The conference was held in cooperation with Cognia (International Education Services, USA) and Tbilisi State University (Tbilisi, Georgia) and aimed to bring together new research projects about the cultural, historical, and social exchange between Georgia and the rest of the world.

Culture Day
28 May 2022Students organized and led Culture Day as a part of their Exhibition project. One of the Exhibition groups that inquired into the topic of the discriminations and stereotypes have initiated this day. They brought traditional dishes and shared them within the school community. Students got dressed up in their national costumes - Georgia, Kazakhstan, China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, etc. It was a great way to once more celebrate the importance of different cultures and traditions.

Independence Day of Georgia
27 May 2022The European School celebrated Independence Day of Georgia with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. On that day, a sense of happiness and pride was seen on the faces of all the students and teachers. The program started with a procession of students carrying national flags, followed by a parade in the schoolyard, where the primary program students showcased their respect and love towards their nation by dressing up in national costumes. After the flag hoisting ceremony, the celebration continued in the main hall, where History teacher Maia Tsenguashvili addressed students with a motivational and patriotic speech. Students paid tribute to the Georgian national heroes, by wearing t-shirts with their printed images.

Independence Day of Georgia
26 May 2022May 26, we celebrated Independence Day of Georgia at the European Kindergarten. The children made Georgian flags, colored the map of Georgia, and listened to the Georgian national anthem. We took some memorable photos in the kindergarten playground.

Social Responsibility
23 May 2022Founders of Impactor Agency - Salome Gasviani & Dzerassa Sanakoeva held an online webinar with the students of European School, regarding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its implementation in business operations.

Visit of the Ambassador of Germany
23 May 2022On May 20th, the Ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia Hubert Knirsch visited the European School and attended an event -“Hope” dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Germany. The school hosted other official guests: Ms. Eva Maria Knirsch, Professor Nino Abralava, and Mr. Harald Hornung.

Europe Week
19 May 2022Every year, the European School celebrates Europe Day aiming to develop among students respect for their own culture and the cultures, languages, values and traditions of others. The Europe Week program started with a showcase of a documentary film - Europe and Me, presented by Young European Ambassadors.
