The European School IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Grade 5 students are preparing for the exhibition. Their topic is related to environmental pollution. Environmental pollution is one of the biggest global problems the world faces today. On May 10th, 2020 students had an online interview with Saba Pipia, Deputy Head of the Municipal Department of Environment Protection. They asked him different questions about regulations and projects that Tbilisi City Hall has to protect the environment. Saba Pipia gave information about waste management. He also talked about future projects and plans to prevent and reduce environmental pollution.

Online CAS event

The founder of the Bolt Georgia conduced online meeting with ES IB DP students, under the CAS event on 14th of May. Mr. Beso Papiashvili shared the experience of the industry leader company and discussed the key factors for success with the students. Hereby students were provided with useful suggestions in terms of the skills and competences, mostly required by modern companies that will be useful for their future academic decisions. European School continues to organize useful events for the students online as well.

Online Exhibition of Students’ Paintings. Health care workers are risking their lives daily in the fight against global Coronavirus pandemic and protect the lives of others. During Arts lessons, students created paintings illustrating doctors, held the online exhibition and expressed their appreciation and respect in this way.

Let’s Discover Europe - Europe Day Celebrated Online

“I study at the European School. I respect European values, traditions, languages and culture. During the online lesson, our teacher talked about the European Union. I found out that the Union currently counts 27 EU countries. I like the EU flag which features a circle of 12 gold stars on a blue background. It was a surprise for me to discover that anthem of Europe is based on Beethoven’s 9th symphony. The euro is the official currency of 19EU Member States. We learned a lot about German, French, Belgian, Swedish, Italian, Austrian, Spanish, Greek and other EU countries’ cultures and traditions, “ wrote the European School student in her letter.
